Composite pipes (also known as steel-plastic composite pipes, steel wire mesh reinforced pipes, bimetallic composite pipes) are made of two or more materials (metal + plastic / metal + metal) through hot melting / extrusion / welding processes. The typical structure is an inner lining layer + a reinforcing layer + an outer protective layer. It combines the high strength and high pressure resistance of metal pipes with the corrosion resistance and smooth inner wall of plastic pipes. It is an upgraded replacement for traditional steel/plastic pipes and is widely used in municipal, chemical, mining, water supply and drainage and other fields.

Structural Features:

 Inner Lining: PE/PPR/Stainless Steel, corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, hygienic and non-toxic, for direct contact with the medium.

Reinforcing Layer: Steel Wire Mesh/Steel Pipe/Carbon Steel, high strength, high rigidity, negative pressure resistance, and deformation resistance.

Outer Protective Layer: PE/Anti-corrosion Coating, anti-aging, UV-resistant, and protected against mechanical damage.

 (The steel wire mesh reinforced pipe has five layers: inner PE – hot melt adhesive – steel wire mesh – hot melt adhesive – outer PE)
